Academic Standing and Satisfactory Academic Progress

A student is considered to be in "acceptable academic standing" if the student is eligible to continue his/her enrollment at TCU. Verification of this status is made by the Office of the Registrar.

A student is considered to be making "satisfactory academic progress" when the student is in acceptable academic standing and coursework is being completed 1) that leads to the degree being sought, 2) in a timely manner and (3) that is consistent with reasonable expectations for individual circumstances. Satisfactory academic progress is determined by the academic dean of the major.
